Baseball Background:
Ivan played two years at Santa Ana College where he was a two time All Orange Empire Conference Pitcher. After two successful years at the JC level, Ivan was recruited to play Division I college baseball at UC Santa Barbara. Subsequent to 2 years of solid pitching performance at Santa Barbara, Ivan played professionally for the Texas Rangers organization during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Ivan has coached at the high school level and is the current pitching coach at Santa Ana Junior College. Personal Background: Ivan received his college degree from the University of California, Irvine
