Baseball Background:
Tony has an impressive baseball resume. He played locally at Saddleback High School. During his senior year, he had a batting average of .529 and was the MVP of the Sea View League and received All County 1st team honors.  He also played in the Sunbelt Classic where he represented the state of California.
In 1995, Tony played baseball at Rancho Santiago Junior College.  He received All League Honors and Orange Empire Conference Player of the Year. He was an All State selection and was the MVP of the state finals championship tournament two years in a row. 
In 1996, Tony was drafted in the 11th round by the SF Giants and became an all star his first year in professional baseball. From 1997 to 2003, he progressed through high “A” ball to Triple “A” and hit 17 home runs and an impressive 26 home runs, leading all of the Giants farm teams in that category.  In 2002 he was invited to Big League Spring Training and accumulated a .318 batting average.  In 2003, he signed as a free agent and played triple “A” with the Toronto Blue Jays where he had a .301 batting average.
From 2004 to 2006, Tony played in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system and in several professional baseball leagues in Mexico where he accumulated a career high .369 batting average. Throughout his professional playing experience, Tony has worked with multiple highly respected major league hitting instructors and coaches, including: Bobby Bonds Sr., Dusty Baker, Robby Thompson, Ken Landreaux and Joe LeFevre.
